P & K Sand & Gravel has been involved in the excavation, road development, and manufacturing of aggregate building materials for over 30 years. We have built our reputation based on quality work, at fair prices, with excellent customer service. A carefully planned expansion has also resulted in the operation of our Redi-Mix business.

Clinton Plummer has worked in the excavating business since he was fourteen. When he started, his equipment consisted of two trucks, a small backhoe, and a front-end loader. Clinton's son, Bruce joined the company in 1976, with Jeff joining the company in 1979.

Bruce Plummer has over 26 years of experience with the company including ten years as am equipment operator, seven years as a site supervisor and continues to act in sales and estimating functions. Bruce has assumed control of day-to-day operation of the business and is poised to lead the organization as it continues to grow.

Mike Carey joined the company in 1998 after a career in education. Although a recent addition to the business on a full time basis, he worked in the crushing and excavation business for ten years during the summer months.

Through the dreams, research, and evaluations of Jeff Plummer, we entered into the Redi-Mix business in 1995. Unfortunately, due to a fatal car accident on August 15, 1993, Jeff was unable to see the success of his vision.

Darrell Cox, Steve Stuart, and Bruce Wiley are the foremen that makes things run smoothly. Darrell has been with the company for over fifteen years. Starting as a laborer, he has worked his way through the ranks and carried with him a positive attitude and the experience he needs to be an effective foreman.

Steve Stuart has also been with the company for over fifteen years. Steve has worked in all aspects of the excavation business from laborer to dozer operator. His strengths are his ability to delegate responsibility, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects.

Bruce Wiley has been with us for twelve years. He is our newest foreman, receiving his promotion in the spring of 2001. Bruce has also been involved in all the aspects of the excavation business. His specialty is the residential field. Bruce has the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously and continues to show his managerial skills.

Jean Palanza is the Manager of Finance and Administration. She has been with the company for four years. She has twenty years experience in construction accounting and is responsible for all aspects of the accounting operation.

The newest addition to our team is our Human Resource / Safety Manager, Dan Gagne. He brings with him 11 years experience in these fields and is continually working to make P & K Sand & Gravel the safest place it can be with the best possible employees.
